Description of Role
We are seeking individuals enrolled in a turf management program who possess a passion for the game of golf to be part of our leadership group and help guide a maintenance team of 70+ people as we try to create exceptional experiences for our members, guests, and employees. We look forward to beginning the season by moving into our new maintenance facility in the spring, and beginning the renovation of the Meadows course beginning in the Fall of 2025
Responsibilities and Duties
The internship will be purpose-built to best fit each individual’s experience, goals and needs to ensure professional growth, fulfilling education requirements, and provide a positive experience. Interns are expected to submit a list of learning objectives that will be executed with the help of the management team and reviewed throughout the season. As part of this program interns will be exposed to as many aspects of the turf maintenance operation as possible, including:
- Course set-up and other daily maintenance practices
- Cultural practices & product applications
- Irrigation system use, repair, start-up & blowout
- Opportunity to lead teams through various projects
- Event and tournament prep
- Course improvement projects
Desired Experience
- Enrolled in a turf management program
- A passion for the game of golf
- Class 5 Driver’s license
- Industry experience an asset

Wage: $22-25 depending on industry experience
Work Term: End of school term to December 2025
