Magrath Golf Course is a thriving 18-hole public course celebrating its centennial in 2025. Located just 25 minutes southwest of Lethbridge, we’re proud of our reputation for maintaining some of the finest playing conditions in Southern Alberta. Our course features two practice greens, a driving range, and thanks to our irrigation system and dedicated team, we typically enjoy one of the longest playing seasons in Alberta (March through October).

We’re seeking a Golf Course Superintendent to lead our maintenance team and continue our tradition of excellence. Our course is community-owned and operated, with all revenues reinvested into improving the golf experience. This creates a unique opportunity to work directly with an engaged board and membership who share your commitment to outstanding course conditions.

What You’ll Do

– Lead and mentor our maintenance team

– Manage course conditions and seasonal preparations

– Develop and execute agronomic plans that maintain our high standards

– Oversee equipment maintenance and capital improvements

– Collaborate with our board and golf professional to enhance the player experience

– Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively

Degree or Certificate in Turf Grass Management

– Alberta Pesticide Applicators License

– 3+ years of golf course management experience

– Strong leadership and communication skills

– Passion for creating exceptional playing conditions

– Equipment maintenance knowledge is an asset
