Fox Hollow is an 18 hole public golf course centrally located in Calgary’s NE. We pride ourselves in providing outstanding conditions for our pass holders and guests.

We are currently seeking a candidate to assume the role of Assistant Superintendent . The preferred candidate will have the opportunity to help manage an 18 hole golf course and to learn and perform a wide variety of agronomic duties

Assist in daily management of turf operations

Supervise, train and lead staff of 10-12 employees with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency

Oversee, schedule and repair irrigation system

Application of granular/liquid fertilizers and pest control products

Demonstrate strong leadership skills including ability to communicate verbally and written if necessary

Minimum 2 year diploma/certificate preferred

2-3 years of experience in golf course maintenance

Strong knowledge of turf diseases, nutrient requirements and cultural practices

Ability to train staff members in safe and proper operation of a variety of equipment

Organizational, interpersonal and communication skills a strong asset

Pesticide applicator certificate or ability to acq
