Red Deer Golf and Country Club is a private golf club dedicated to providing exceptional playing conditions for our members. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Assistant to join our team and contribute to the community of the Red Deer Golf and Country Club.

Position Overview: As an Equipment Technician, you will work closely with our experienced Equipment Manager to maintain our extensive fleet of equipment. This position provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in turfgrass equipment operation, maintenance, and repair. You will work closely with the Equipment Manager on reel set up and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the daily maintenance of all Turfcare equipment.
2. Participate in diagnostic and repairs of all equipment.
3. Learn and operate various turf maintenance equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
4. Daily Set up of all required equipment and small tools.
5. Support Turfcare maintenance team as required.
6. Participate in on-course projects.
7. Setting mowing equipment for adjustments, sharpening or daily maintenance.
8. Adhere to a clean and organized working environment.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with small engines, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics.
2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience Requirements

Previous mechanical experience is preferred, but willing to train the right individual. Candidates with an interest in long-term employment with the club will be strongly considered regardless of prior experience.

Education Requirements

Candidates possessing the right attitude in alignment with our culture will be strongly considered regardless of any formal education.

Compensation and Perks:
