We are a multi-industry, multi-line dealer selling equipment to Golf Courses, Municipalities, Farms, and Private Contractors in markets that include sports turf, refuse, sewer & water, agriculture & roadside maintenance. Rollins is excited to expand our operations into Alberta and Saskatchewan (facility based in Alberta), with the support of our existing locations in Langley, Chilliwack, Chemainus and Kelowna (British Columbia). Our equipment focus for the Alberta facility will be Golf & Turf equipment, along with other relevant lines.
Description of Role
Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor, is growing in a big way and we are currently looking for a motivated, experienced individual to fill a Golf & Turf Equipment Sales Representative position based out of our new Alberta facility (within the Red Deer or Calgary vicinity, exact location TBD). This role will require the right candidate to take ownership of sales in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and have an aggressive approach to growing the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive sales of equipment within our newly acquired territories, Alberta and Saskatchewan, meeting and exceeding sales revenue objectives.
- Specific equipment focus will be golf & turf, as well as light industrial equipment (snow & ice removal, mowing and roadside maintenance).
- Conduct in-person visits to businesses (such as golf courses, municipalities, airports, and highways) to identify potential opportunities and build rapport with customers.
- Develop well-structured written proposals, meticulously following up on each lead.
- Maintain accurate paperwork at all stages of the sales process, adhering to the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Lead product demonstrations and actively participate in trade shows to showcase our equipment’s’ capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with our parts and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction and comprehensive support.
Desired Experience
- 5+ years of sales experience (golf & turf equipment sales experience is preferred, and considered an asset).
- Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract (to be provided upon employment).
- Understanding of the equipment sector that Rollins represents is considered an asset (golf & turf, snow & ice removal, mowing, roadside maintenance).
- Capable of designing personalized financing solutions in collaboration with the Company’s financing partners.
- Transport equipment throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, with a provided pickup & trailer, for demonstration and delivery purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Skilled negotiator who creates win-win situations.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours.
- Ambitious, self-driven, team player, results oriented, and positive work ethic.
- Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), as well as familiarity with general CRM software. Experience with ZOHO CRM is a bonus.
Compensation and Perks
SALARY
- Estimated $100,000 – $130,000 annually (combining salary and commissions), based on experience, skills and qualifications.
