Magrath Golf Club, nestled in the peaceful community of Magrath, Alberta, just 30 minutes south of Lethbridge. Known as the hidden gem of the south, the club is celebrating its 100th anniversary this season and has a reputation for fantastic playing conditions.

We are looking for a dependable Golf Course Mechanic to maintain our fleet, turf equipment, and facilities while contributing to our golf club’s legacy.

• Maintain and repair a fleet of 80 Yamaha rental golf carts
• Service turf equipment, including John Deere, Jacobsen, and Toro machines
• Sharpen and adjust mowers regularly to maintain top-quality course conditions
• Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Set up and organize your workspace in a way that suits your working style
• Track and manage inventory of parts and supplies
• Assist with minor building maintenance and repairs
• Perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance — knowledge of gas and diesel engines, electronic components, and hydraulics is required

• Experience in mechanics (small engine, automotive, agricultural, or heavy equipment backgrounds welcome)
• Golf course mechanic experience is an asset, but all mechanical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with reel and rotary mower maintenance is a plus
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• The shop is stocked with most common tools, but having your own tools is a definite asset
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
