The correct candidate will have an opportunity to oversee 18 holes with direction from the Superintendent and Head Agronomist that will help prepare the appropriate candidate for a future superintendent role.

Serenity Golf Club is currently searching for a Senior Assistant Superintendent that is willing to learn and try new things. To think outside the box, have opinions, bring ideas, to be a big part of our already well rounded team of managers. We need your help to make it all possible.

Assists Superintendent with day to day operations
Ability to multitask with exceptional oral and written communication skills
Candidate should possess a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail
Willing to learn and accept new challenges
Good team management and record keeping skills
Incorporate and implement Alberta OH&S standards
Assists in calibration and application of all fertilizers/chemicals
Understand and implement cultural, water, and fertility management practices

Two or four year college Diploma/Degree in Agronomy or currently enrolled
Valid Alberta pesticide license or willing to obtain
Ability to assist in irrigation scheduling and repairs
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
