The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is one of the largest golf courses in Canada with 45 holes on three beautiful and challenging courses. Pair that with a world-class practice facility, a lasting impression is made on everyone who plays here. We are proud to be the first Robert Trent Jones Jr. course in Canada and members and guests have enjoyed playing golf alongside the moose, deer, and occasional bear, that roam along the Elbow River.

We are seeking individuals enrolled in a turf management program who possess a passion for the game of golf to be part of our leadership group and help guide a maintenance team of 70+ people as we try to create exceptional experiences for our members, guests, and employees.

As part of this program interns will be exposed to as many aspects of the turf maintenance operation as possible, including:

• Course set-up and other daily maintenance practices
• Cultural practices & product applications
• Irrigation system use, repair, start-up & blowout
• Opportunity to lead teams through various projects
• Event and tournament prep
• Course improvement projects
• Grow in of the Lakes/Slopes Project by Whitman, Axland & Cutten Golf Course Architects (WAC Golf)

• Currently enrolled in a recognized turfgrass management program
• Valid driver’s license
• Passion for the game of golf
• Previous golf course/landscape experience is an asset but not required

Wage:    $22-25 depending on industry experience
