The Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club is currently seeking a Turf Management Diploma/Degree Student to join our team as an Intern for the 2026 Golf Season. Established in 1957, Canyon Meadows is a premier private club in the heart of Southwest Calgary, and the club has been a staple in the Calgary golf community since its inception. In 2013, Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club became the annual host of the Champions Tour’s Shaw/Rogers Charity Classic, which has raised over $165 million for Alberta children’s charities since it began. The event will continue to be held at Canyon Meadows through at least 2028. With three 2025 Interns moving on to Assistant positions at other private clubs in Alberta, we have ample opportunity for new Interns to develop skills and gain experience. Canyon Meadows is a fun, fast paced facility with a lot going on; if you enjoy challenging yourself and are looking for plenty of learning opportunities to help you grow and prepare for future opportunities as an Assistant Superintendent, Canyon Meadows could be the place for you.

Description of Role

Our management team is familiar with local Turf Management education programs, and we ensure that our Interns have the opportunity to meet all their field school learning requirements. As a team, our mission is to fully prepare our Interns for an Assistant Superintendent position upon graduation. A successful candidate would be enthusiastic, eager to learn and should have a strong desire to progress within the Turf Management industry.  We’re looking for someone with a passion for the game of golf, a team-oriented personality, a keen eye for detail and the desire to one day be a Golf Course Superintendent.
