Valley Ridge is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, team-oriented individual to fill the role of Turf Equipment Technician. Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent the Turf Equipment Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of all golf course equipment and related machinery. This position plays a vital role in the daily operations of the golf course and ensures that the product presented on the golf course is maintained to the highest level.

• Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on all turf equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Perform daily reel maintenance to ensure highest quality of cut during the season
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance service schedules
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate ordering as needed
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Assist the Turf Care Team during the shoulder season

• Experience in a golf course environment or related mechanical field
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Reel grinding experience and knowledge of turf related equipment an asset
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Valid driver’s licence
