Our facility is home to three distinct nine-hole courses: The Mountain View, The Elbow, and The Springs. These courses are strategically designed to integrate the stunning landscape of the Elbow River Valley, making every round a picturesque experience. With meticulously curated fairways, vibrant greens, and comprehensive practice areas, Elbow Springs Golf Club is the perfect setting for golfers seeking both challenge and scenic tranquility.

We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our turfcare team as a 2nd Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, or Turf Intern depending on experience and qualifications. This role is ideal for someone with previous golf course maintenance experience and/or formal turfgrass education who is looking to grow within the industry and work closely with our Superintendent and management team. This is a seasonal position (weather dependent, likely ends mid-November), with the potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who can:

-Assist in the daily maintenance and conditioning of the golf course
-Help lead and supervise crew members during daily operations
-Operate and train staff on a variety of turf maintenance equipment
-Assist with irrigation repairs, troubleshooting and water management
-Monitor course conditions and help maintain high presentation standards
-Support fertilizer, chemical and cultural maintenance programs
-Help coordinate setup and preparation for tournaments and events
-Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
-Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with all departments
-Work early mornings, weekends and holidays as required during the golf season
-Get here dependably – we are located just west of Calgary on Highway 8 with no public transit access

Looking for an individual that has some good experience whether that be Turfgrass schooling or just worked multiple years at golf courses.

Starting at $22+ / hour and vacation pay, depending on experience.
